Starting My Campaign for School Board: A Journey of Dedication and Vision

Welcome to my website and into the Jim Lee for DD2 District 7 campaign.

I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the DD2 District 7 Trustee position. This decision comes from a deep commitment to our community and a desire to bring critical thinking and practical experience to the challenges we face in student achievement in DD2.

I’m not your run-of-the-mill candidate for elected office. I’m quite transparent and candid and enjoy the marketplace of ideas. So, that said, I want to share some thoughts about how there came to be a “Jim Lee for DD2 District 7” campaign.

Why are you running, Jim?

Our children’s education is the cornerstone of our future, and I believe that effective leadership, stewardship, and governance are essential to fostering an environment where our students can thrive. My journey has been shaped by a passion for education and a dedication to making a positive impact. I have seen firsthand the difference that strong leadership can make, and I am eager to bring my skills and experience to the DD2 School Board.

Jim, what sets your vision for leadership of DD2 above the rest?

My vision for our district is one where every student has the opportunity to succeed. This means ensuring that our schools are equipped with the resources they need, supporting our teachers and parents, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. We deserve innovative leadership that is willing to challenge the status quo and is focused first and foremost on student achievement and sustainable solutions. We require better stewardship to drive accountability. We need the right governance to measure not only what is being done but also how well it is being done in alignment with our student achievement goals. I am committed to listening to the concerns of parents, teachers, and students and working collaboratively to find real solutions that prioritize the potential of our students and benefit our entire community.
